Chevy's Fresh Mex Recipe
Makes 1 Cup
1/4 cup paprika
2 teaspoons cayenne
2 tablespoons ground white pepper
2 tablespoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons oregano
Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Store in an airtight container, out of direct light, for up to 6 months.
Notes: This fiery spice blend is perfect for seasoning grilled steaks, chops, chicken, and fish. Just rub it on the meat right before cooking. You can add a pinch to sauteed vegetables, too. Or use it to season homemade tortilla chips, French fries, or popcorn.
